For this Korean-born, Wisconsin-raised native, Shin has a passion for hair that catapulted her to the top of her field. She quickly became known for her transformative work while styling at some of New York’s premiere salons. Celebrities, musicians, editors, models, businessmen and women alike call upon Shin for her ability to cast a soft critical eye and deliver image-altering results with her signature dry cutting and color enhancement.
Shin views hair as the most important accessory one can wear. “Hair is at the very core of an individual’s self expression. The style you present to the world says volumes about how you perceive yourself or how you want to be perceived. And it can have a huge impact on your psyche,”
With over 25 years of experience, Shin creates an effortless and fresh style with the belief that one haircut doesn't fit all. Shin has maintained a loyal clientele that spans across the US and worldwide.

Layla is a guy’s girl, meaning she's perfected the art of dude hair. An exacting specialist in male grooming, her approach is education-based, ensuring that all her guys leave the salon knowing exactly how to recreate the look they love at home. Whether it is a styling technique, a DIY treatment or styling product, Layla is big on sharing her knowledge and expertise with her clients. Guys (and gals) love her for lots of reasons, but mostly because she delivers badass style and they leave the salon looking and feeling fantastic.
JOSUE MORENO

An exceptional colorist who specializes in creating distinctive, custom looks executed with artistry and vision, this South LA-born, Mexican-American artist has established himself as one of the most sought-after colorist's on LA's West Side. He is known for both reinventing looks with dramatic boldness, as well as mastering subtle, natural styles with his hallmark coloring techniques. His expertise as a creative perfectionist draws loyal clients who entrust him with their hair and give him artistic freedom to interpret their hair goals.
JUSTIN WOODS

A Midwest boy with a passion for hair, Justin’s stylist career has taken him across the nation. Justin studied Visual Communication Design at Kent State University before relocating to Boston, Massachusetts where he attended Beauty School. Inspired by design and passionate about the creative process, Justin left Boston as a Senior Stylist, Educator, and Creative Director at Emerge Spa and Salon. He relocated to New York City where he worked on editorial styling and New York Fashion Week. Justin has styled for celebrities, award shows, and designers such as Zac Posen and Joseph Altuzarra. Now settled in Los Angeles and back behind the chair, he loves to connect with his clients and set them up for success. He recognizes that not all hair goals are the same for every person. Whether your goals are to achieve or maintain hair health, return to a natural look, or create a look that truly stands out, he will take the time to set you up on the right hair journey for you.
STAR WRIGHT

An LA native, Star moved to New York in 2005. After attending Aveda she worked at Paul Labrecque Salon where she met and trained under Shin An. After completing the training program there she worked as a stylist and educator for 3 years. Star then moved to Ted Gibson Salon as a stylist and educator. In 2011 she made the move back west to work with Shin again in Santa Monica. Star loves to cut and style hair to match her client’s lifestyle and needs. Always keeping in mind her client’s wishes she carves and creates beautiful shapes and styles that can be easily maintained at home on a day to day basis. Star also gives great tips and lessons on how to recreate your signature look once you leave the salon. Beyond cutting star also does amazing looks for special events, red carpet, and weddings.
